Red Cliff wins 15 nominations for Hong Kong Film Award (Xin.sg )

Nomination list for Hong Kong Film Awards is unveiled. "Red Cliff" wins most 15 nominations out of 19 categories and is the movie with the most number of nominations for this year's awards. Donnie Yen's movies "Painted Skin" and "Ip Man" wins 12 nominations each. "Painted Skin" is a Singapore MediaCorp Raintree Pictures' coproduction with Hong Kong and China.

Zhang Ziyi recounts success formula at Berlin Film Festival (Xin.sg )

Films running for Golden Bear at the 59th Berlin Film Festival premiered on Tuesday. Zhang Ziyi, whose film "Forever Enthralled" is the only Chinese language film in the competition, was in Germany to grace the event. Her boyfriend Vivi specially accompanied her on the trip to celebrate her 30th birthday which fell on Feb 9. Even though her English was a shame, she remained in a joyous mood.
